Placing an Order

Orders may be placed with any Telematic sales representative or with our headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada via letter, telephone, fax or e-mail. Please provide the complete model number, including options if any, quantity desired, shipping instructions and billing address.

Prices and Terms

Formal quotations are firm for 30 days, unless otherwise specified. Prices are F.O.B. Calgary, Alberta unless otherwise specified and do not include taxes or shipping costs. Terms are NET 30 days on approved credit accounts only.

Deliveries

Delivery dates are given as best estimates, and every effort is made to meet those dates. Telematic is not liable for damages resulting from late delivery caused by conditions beyond Telematic's control. In the absence of specific instructions, shipments are made via suitable surface transportation.

Order Alterations and Returns

Order alterations, including cancellations and changes in specifications, are subject to charges determined by Telematic. New equipment may be returned within 30 days of shipment with prior factory approval and the assignment of a Return Authorization number by Telematic. This number must be contained on the return. R.A. numbers are valid for 30 days from issue. The equipment is subject to a standard restocking charge of 25% and the customer is responsible for transportation charges both ways. Specially ordered or modified goods, goods which have been used, or goods which have been shipped more than 30 days prior, are not returnable.

Service Policy

Telematic equipment may be returned for repair within warranty, out of warranty or for checkout and recalibration. Units within the warranty period are handled in accordance with the terms of the Telematic Warranty policy and/or the specific Manufacturer's Warranty policy. Units out of warranty are repaired on a time and material basis. If requested, Telematic will inspect the equipment and advise the customer of repair cost, prior to making the repairs. If a unit returned for checkout and recalibration requires repair or modification to accommodate the specified calibration, the customer will be advised before the work is performed.

All units returned to Telematic for repair and/or recalibration must be shipped prepaid. A purchase order is required for all non-warranty work. Each unit returned for repair or recalibration must be tagged with the following information:
  1. Return Authorization Number.
  2. Name and phone number of person to contact regarding the unit.
  3. Company name and address.
  4. Brief description of problem and calibration information if the unit is to be recalibrated after repair or checkout.

WARRANTY
Telematic warrants all instruments it sells to be free from defect in materials and factory workmanship to the original Buyer. Telematic agrees to repair or replace at its sole discretion any instrument that fails to perform as specified within the warranty period of the Manufacturer's Warranty policy. Any defective equipment will be repaired or replaced by Telematic. All transportation charges to and from the repair facility will be borne by the Buyer. The above warranty is contingent upon proper use of the equipment and does not cover equipment which has been modified without Telematic's approval or which has been subjected to unusual physical or electrical stress.
